
Cynthia Sweet
Cynthia Sweet serves as the Associate Vice Chancellor for Economic Partnerships at the University of Pittsburgh. In this role, she collaborates with university leadership to foster economic growth both on campus and throughout the region. Her responsibilities include guiding the corporate engagement office's rollout strategy and strengthening partnerships with various stakeholders.

Before joining the University of Pittsburgh, Sweet was the Associate Vice President of Corporate and Government Relations at West Virginia University, where she established and led the Corporate Relations Office. She also held the position of Senior University Business Liaison in the Office of Corporate Relations at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Sweet earned a Bachelor of Arts in Geography, focusing on economic development and international relations, from St. Cloud State University. She also holds a Master of Science in Urban and Regional Planning, specializing in international economic development, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
